Getting to Hon Lon Island

There are two ways to reach Hon Lon:

1. Starting from Van Gia port, you can charter a fisherman’s boat for a journey of about 16 km to the island.
2. Departing from Dam Mon, you can board a fisherman’s boat at Son Dung beach, covering a distance of approximately 7 km to the island.

If you’re visiting Hon Lon Island, check out the lighthouse tower. It’s one of the five oldest lighthouses in Vietnam, built during the French time in 1890, with a height of 16m. The lighthouse is painted in white and black, making it easy for boats operating on offshore waters to determine the direction to Nha Trang port from the position of Bich Dam island.
