The tribes organize invasions and defend the territory. Prenn’s name in Cham origin means “invaded area”, meaning the invaders to indigenous peoples such as Chi, Sré and Lat.
However, in contrast to the tales associated with that war, the village elders said that the waterfall was formerly called “Renhnh”, meaning “bitter eggplant” because there were many trees around it. Two interpretations of the name can evoke the attractive beauty of this waterfall – both majestic and yet poetic.
